What does it mean to you to be a female in this sport?
‘It means being brave and persisting through barriers and road blocks. It means to inspire the next generation of young women to be even better and to not be afraid to be a part of sports and love it.’
“The biggest misconception about women’s basketball is that we are not skilful athletes, and that watching our games will be boring.
I think men can be allies to women in basketball by watching more women’s basketball. Supporting the women’s teams, talking about it and encouraging others.”
