Skater and Creator of Loutre.co, a sustainable skate brand

A woman who is challenging skater stereotypes and the culture of fast fashion. Combining her love for Skateboarding and Fashion, Pia created Loutre (@loutre.co),  a small batch Skate clothing brand made from her bedroom.  She uses only up cycled and locally sourced materials as her brand is all about zero waste. Pia mentioned she went to visit her Grandma in Germany, and as she was leaving her Grandma was getting rid of all her old curtains; Pia thought it was such a waste, so asked if she could take them back to England. With her case full of old curtains, Pia came home and began designing and creating these up cycled skate wear pieces, with comfort, mobility and durability in mind. I met up with Pia and her skate friends, who are all wearing her Loutre trousers in the photo’s, and watched her dominate amongst the boys.
